Ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile Hotel

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from various historical sites and local restaurants. The room was clean and had a good size, with tall windows that let in lots of natural light during the day. The Scottish snacks provided were a nice touch, and the staff were efficient and friendly. Overall, a comfortable stay for my sightseeing trip in Edinburgh Old Town.

For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly activities or play areas within the hotel premises for the little ones to enjoy.

We had a great stay at this budget hotel located near the train station and Princes Street, right by the nightclub. The location was perfect, being so close to all the main attractions as well as New Edinburgh. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The continental breakfast was impressive and there was 24-hour food service available. Staff was polite and responded quickly to messages through Whatsapp. We also appreciated the free drink coupons provided when there was a problem with the toilet in the bathroom.

The lobby area can be a bit chaotic, with no proper reception desk, but the staff still handled check-in and queries promptly.

I always choose this spot for my stay. The staff helped with my luggage on my first visit, and I remember. It suits me perfectly and has Wi-Fi, a bar/lounge, game room, and wheelchair access. I'm coming back for New Year.

Reception setup is a little odd, it’s basically a sideboard in the entrance. No iron in the rooms, only an ironing room on each floor which was inconvenient.

The staff at this hotel is exceptional, providing excellent service and ensuring that all your basic amenities are taken care of. The rooms, although not cleaned daily, were still maintained to a high standard, and fresh towels were available upon request. Additionally, the included breakfast was of good value and provided a satisfying start to the day.
